COSMOLOGIES
Statement
This series explores cosmologies both macroscopic and microscopic: worlds within cells, silhouettes against sky, isolated planets against the vast expanses of space. In particular, it draws inspiration from arcane texts about alchemy and the search for the Sacred Geometry of the universe, as well as from star charts, maps, old notebooks, and objects gathered while walking through nature. As I work with a variety of materials to explore the similarities among animal, mineral, and plant forms, my goal is to uncover and give shape to the unseen energies that move the universe.
